About DMOThe Digital Marketing Office (DMO) is responsible for advancingevolution toward a more personalized, measurable, experimentation-led, and performance-driven marketing organization. DMO partners across 1Marketing, Analytics, Operations, and Technology to scale System 1.0 capabilities, including performance marketing, experimentation, personalization, and AI-enabled content creation. Within DMO, the Performance Marketing team leads the engagement and adoption of performance marketing principles with brand teams, ensuring that comprehensive training, tools, and methodologies meet brand goals and drive efficient, high-quality business outcomes at scale.Job SummaryThe Performance Marketing Strategy & Incentives Lead helps advance performance marketing capabilities by supporting measurement, experimentation, optimization, and marketer enablement across the Marketing Organization. This role plays a key role in the operationalization and ongoing execution of Marketing Incentives initiative, a pilot program designed to reinforce performance marketing behaviors through measurable, behavior-linked recognition and rewards. Working closely with Digital & Data Analytics (DDA), Marketing Ops, Finance, and Marketing teams, this individual supports experiment and optimization evaluation, incentive program operations, measurement governance, dashboard reporting and stakeholder engagement. In addition to ensuring operational rigor, this role helps marketers identify meaningful optimization opportunities, strengthen experiment design, interpret results, and promote adoption of performance marketing best practices.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and score experiment and optimization submissions against established criteria, develop ranked shortlists, and prepare leadership-ready recommendations for quarterly and annual incentive awardsSupport development, maintenance, and ongoing execution of marketing incentives dashboards, experiment tracking, rankings, and leadership reporting across all marketing brand teamsPartner with marketers to strengthen experiment hypotheses, optimization opportunities, and measurement approachesSupport marketers in understanding experiment qualification requirements, measurement expectations, and reporting standards, while helping operationalize experiment intake, scoring, and evaluation workflowsManage recurring data ingestion, refresh, QA, and validation processes across multiple marketing and measurement data sourcesValidate experiment submissions and ensure experiments meet defined qualification, measurement, and statistical significance criteriaSupport implementation and maintenance of metric guardrails, reporting standards, inclusion/exclusion logic, and measurement governance processesMonitor data availability timelines and reporting SLAs tied to incentive and recognition cadences, while partnering with DDA and analytics stakeholders to troubleshoot data gaps, attribution issues, and reporting inconsistenciesMaintain operational documentation, measurement definitions, process guidance, governance artifacts, and reporting playbooks to support scalability and audit readinessSupport operational execution of quarterly and annual incentives processes, including validation workflows, eligibility tracking, audit documentation, payroll coordination readiness, and reporting supportPartner closely with Marketing Operations, DDA, Finance, and other stakeholders to align on measurement methodologies, reporting expectations, and continuous improvement opportunitiesSupport end of year academy-style awards and recognition processes, including marketing experimentation/optimization case study intake, scoring coordination, finalist reporting, and leadership review preparationHelp establish scalable workflows, process improvements, and operational best practices to support future expansion of the marketing incentives program and broader System 1.0 measurement capabilitiesComply with all laws, regulations, and policies that govern the conduct of activitiesMinimum Candidate Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor s degree in Marketing, Analytics, Business, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field5+ years of experience in performance marketing, marketing analytics, marketing operations, business operations, or a related fieldExperience working with marketing performance data, experimentation frameworks, dashboards, or reporting operationsFamiliarity with digital advertising and measurement ecosystems, including major and media and analytics platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn, Reddit, TikTok, Adobe Analytics, GA4Strong understanding of performance marketing concepts, optimization methodologies, experiment frameworks, and measurement principlesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience managing complex datasets and operational workflowsExperience working cross-functionally with analytics, operations, and business stakeholdersProficiency with reporting and analytics tools (e.G., Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or similar)Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly languageAbility to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple stakeholders and prioritiesAdditional Desired Candidate Qualifications & ExperienceExperience running experiments (i.E. A/B test, geo holdouts)Understanding of statistical significance concepts and experiment methodologiesFamiliarity with pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or regulated industry environmentsExperience designing operational processes, governance workflows, or reporting frameworksExperience supporting incentive programs, recognition programs, or performance reporting initiativesLocationThis position is based in South San Francisco, CARelocation assistance is not available at this time.
