Job Description
Full-Time Perioperative Registered Nurse (RN) - Near Wichita, KS Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is partnering with a top-tier facility in Wichita, Kansas to find a dedicated and experienced Perioperative Registered Nurse (RN). This full-time opportunity is ideal for nurses who thrive in the fast-paced surgical environment and are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative process.Job Description:
- Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care to surgical patients*
- Prepare operating rooms and assist surgical teams with instruments and supplies*
- Monitor patients vital signs and responses during procedures*
- Ensure strict adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols*
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered*
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals*
- Educate patients and families about procedures and recovery processes*
- Maintain accurate documentation in patient medical records
- Active RN license in the state of Kansas*
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN or BSN)*
- BLS and ACLS certifications required*
- CNOR certification preferred but not required*
- Minimum of 1 year of perioperative nursing experience preferred*
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
