Geriatric Psychiatry Physician
$318K–$355K + Bonuses | Inpatient | 1:6 Call

365 Healthcare is recruiting a Board Certified or Board Eligible Geriatric Psychiatry Physician for a full-time permanent inpatient opportunity in Troy, New York.
Join a well-established behavioral health program providing specialized inpatient psychiatric care for geriatric patients within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Position Snapshot
- Base Salary: $318,449 – $354,957
- Sign-On Bonus: $25,000
- Retention Bonus: $30,000
- Schedule: Full-time inpatient (daytime hours)
- Call: 1:6 weekend rotation
- Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
Schedule & Coverage Model
- Inpatient-focused schedule with typical daytime hours
- Call: 1:6 weekend rotation
- Balanced schedule with shared coverage responsibilities
Practice Environment
- 20-bed Geriatric Psychiatry inpatient unit
- Multidisciplinary care team including:
- Psychiatrists
- Nurse Practitioners
- Therapists
- Case Managers
- Social Workers
- Dedicated Clinical Coordinator/Social Worker with geriatric specialization
- Strong system-level behavioral health support
- Collaborative, physician-friendly culture
This is a highly respected, long-standing program focused on comprehensive geriatric mental health care.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient psychiatric care for geriatric patients
- Manage complex psychiatric, medical, and social conditions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Coordinate discharge planning and continuity of care
- Deliver patient-centered, evidence-based care
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Active New York license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA certification
- Clean malpractice and license history
Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship preferred but not required.

Compensation & Benefits
- $318K–$355K base salary
