Job Summary: Nurse Practitioner (APRN)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join our multidisciplinary outpatient primary care team. This role is designed for a clinician who excels in independence, leadership, and the delivery of comprehensive medical care. You will focus on health promotion and disease prevention while collaborating across a wide array of specialties—including pediatrics, cardiology, and orthopedics—to optimize patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Excellence: Independently perform medical acts within licensure standards, providing primary care to individuals and families.
- Patient Advocacy: Identify specialized teaching needs and provide the education necessary for patients to make informed healthcare decisions.
- Leadership: Deliver consultation and clinical leadership within the care team to ensure a safe, efficient, and cost-effective environment.
- Professional Growth: Maintain active participation in continuing education and professional development goals.
Candidate Requirements:
- Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (Adult, Family, or Pediatric focus).
- Licensure: Current APRN license (or eligibility to obtain) and a valid DEA license.
- Certifications: National NP Certification (Adult, Family, or Pediatric) is highly preferred; Healthcare Provider CPR is required.
- Experience: Two years of nursing experience prior to obtaining an advanced degree is highly preferred.
- Professional Standing: A clean malpractice history and a recent NPDB Self-Query Report are required.
- Commitment: This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week) position. We are seeking candidates who will focus exclusively on this role (no concurrent positions) and reside within a one-hour radius of the facility.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Annual Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 (Based on experience and internal equity).
