Job Description
$61.06 – $103.85 per hour.Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.Position Overview:
We are seeking a Director of Finance – Foundation to provide strategic oversight and maintain the financial integrity of its Foundation. This role ensures compliance with state and federal regulations and serves as a liaison between the Foundation and the hospital system.Although this is a Director-level title, the role functions in a hands-on managerial capacity. The ideal candidate must be willing to work directly within financial systems, review ledgers, and support operational needs as required.Schedule:
- Monday – Friday.
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- No weekends.
- No on-call.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial operations.
- Develop and manage annual budgets.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls.
- Manage and support grants accounting processes.
- Lead, train, and evaluate finance staff.
- Improve operational workflows and efficiencies.
- Develop departmental goals aligned with organizational objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of financial leadership experience.
- Minimum 4 years of non-profit sector experience.
- Healthcare finance experience (large hospital preferred).
- Grants management experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
Highly Preferred:
- Master’s degree (MBA, Accounting, or Public Administration).
- Foundation experience.
Required Experience to Highlight (Must-Haves).
Candidates must clearly demonstrate experience in:
- Non-Profit Finance.
- Foundation Accounting.
- Healthcare Finance (Large Hospital Environment Preferred).
- Grants Management.
