What You’ll Do:

• Provide direct medical care to hospitalized patients, including admissions, daily rounds, and discharges
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a variety of acute and chronic conditions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including specialists and primary care providers
• Coordinate care plans and ensure smooth patient transitions
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests
• Respond to emergencies, including codes and rapid response situations
• Manage ventilators for critical patients
• Document all patient interactions thoroughly in the EMR
• Participate in hospital committees, quality initiatives, and team meetings
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses and treatment plans
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations

What You Need:

• MD or DO degree, board-certified or board-eligible in hospital medicine
• Valid medical license for Vermont or eligible for license in VT
• At least 2 years of hospitalist experience preferred, but new grads encouraged
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment
