Pay & Benefits

What You’ll Do

• Conduct intake assessments to identify needs and service preferences, completing documentation within 48 hours
• Gather and integrate information from available sources at intake (including consumer self-reports and collateral information)
• Use motivational interviewing to assess and articulate consumer motivation related to identified needs
• Provide consumers and support persons accurate information about services and supports available
• Support initiation of person-centered planning in line with program principles and applicable guidelines
• Develop safety plans as required based on assessed needs and circumstances
• Participate in clinical supervision, case consultations, and team meetings; maintain required productivity and documentation standards

What You NeedRequired

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling
• State of Michigan licensure consistent with LMSW role
• Ability to complete documentation and administrative requirements within required timeframes
• Demonstrated professional ethics and ability to maintain appropriate boundaries

Preferred

• Experience working in behavioral health intake/assessment workflows
• Familiarity with person-centered planning and integrated treatment approaches
• Experience coordinating referrals for further evaluation/testing when needed

About the AssignmentThis permanent Intake role supports Adult Behavioral Health services delivered in an office setting, with intake conducted on a walk-in and scheduled basis.
