What You’ll Do

• Provide professional nursing care in your assigned department (Emergency Room, Med/Surg, PCU, and Float coverage as needed).
• Coordinate patient care planning with other disciplines and communicate updates to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Perform head-to-toe assessments and ongoing reassessments per facility policy, including pediatric and geriatric populations.
• Determine nursing priorities based on patients’ physical and psychosocial needs.
• Monitor patients’ condition and respond quickly and accurately to changes, including communicating with physicians regarding status changes and diagnostic results.
• Administer medications safely using the medication rights and support patient/family teaching and education.
• Assist with procedures and treatments within your scope of licensure, including supporting cardiac monitoring/ACLS-based responses as applicable.

What You NeedRequired

• Current RN license
• Ability to perform and reassess head-to-toe patient assessments
• Demonstrated medication safety practices (including adherence to “six medication rights”)
• Ability to work independently in a small/rural setting and manage fast-paced, stressful situations

Preferred

• Rural experience (preferred)
• Experience working across Emergency Room / Med-Surg / PCU settings (preferred, based on assignment needs)
