• Location: Minot, ND / Abilene, TX / Longview, TX
• Start Date: Varies, starting from 01/03/2025
• Duration: Contract lengths from 7 months
• Shifts: 8-12 hours shifts; day, night, or rotating schedules
• Hours/week: 40+ hours
• Employment Type: Contract/Locum Tenens
• Certifications: ABEM/BEEM or equivalent, BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS (as required)
• Experience: 1-2 years preferred

Pay & Benefits

• Pay Rates: Up to $325/hr, with some positions offering additional travel and holiday pay
• Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 for some roles

What You’ll Do

• Provide emergency medical care in high-volume, fast-paced environments
• Evaluate and stabilize patients, perform procedures such as intubations, IV placements, and ultrasound-guided interventions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Manage a diverse patient population, including pediatrics and adults
• Document patient care accurately in EMR systems like Cerner, Allscripts, or EPIC
• Respond to trauma alerts, code situations, and urgent admissions
• Maintain quality standards and participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives
• Support hospital trauma and stroke programs, including certifications and protocols

What You NeedRequired:

• Active medical license in the state of practice
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
• Minimum 1-year ER experience (preferred)

Preferred:

• ACLS, ATLS certifications for trauma centers
• Experience with EMR systems such as Cerner, Epic, Allscripts
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
