Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist (PT) to join a 90-bed skilled nursing facility in Waterville, Maine.
The center provides a diverse range of services, including post-hospital and short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and respite care. This gives you the opportunity to work with a varied patient population while developing a well-rounded clinical skill set.
This position offers 30 hours per week, Monday–Friday with a weekend rotation, making it a great opportunity for a PT who wants meaningful clinical work while maintaining a manageable schedule.

Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and assessments
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and functional goals
Provide skilled therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and independence
Treat patients across post-hospital, short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and respite care settings
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate
Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, mobility, and safety
Collaborate with nursing, therapy, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
Promote patient safety and quality outcomes
Qualifications
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program
Current Maine Physical Therapist license
Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Patient-centered approach to care
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Strong organizational and documentation skills
