We are looking for a compassionate, motivated, and patient-focused Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a 58-bed skilled nursing facility in Camden, Maine.

This full-time permanent opportunity offers 40 hours per week in a smaller SNF environment where your clinical expertise can have a direct and meaningful impact. Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities

  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals

  • Provide skilled speech-language therapy using evidence-based practices

  • Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate

  • Evaluate and treat communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

  • Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation, dietary, and other interdisciplinary team members

  • Participate in care planning and communicate resident progress

  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers regarding treatment strategies and recommendations

  • Promote safety, independence, communication, and quality of life

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

  • Current Maine Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure

  • ASHA certification or eligibility preferred

  • Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills

  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary team

  • New graduates are encouraged to apply
