Job Description
Full-Time CT/X-Ray Technologist - Akron, OH Connected Health Care is partnering with a top-tier healthcare facility in Akron, Ohio, to find a reliable and detail-oriented CT/X-Ray Technologist for a full-time role. This opportunity is ideal for an imaging professional seeking career stability, a collaborative team environment, and a peaceful small-town lifestyle.Job Description:
- Perform high-quality CT and diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures as ordered by physicians*
- Ensure proper patient positioning and safety during all imaging processes*
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment and report any malfunctions*
- Accurately document patient information and imaging results in electronic medical records*
- Assist with contrast injections and monitor patients for any reactions*
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret images*
- Maintain compliance with all safety, radiation protection, and infection control protocols
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program*
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required*
- ARRT (CT) certification preferred or willingness to obtain within a specified period*
- Valid Ohio Radiologic License*
- BLS certification required*
- At least 1 year of experience in both CT and X-ray imaging preferred
