The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing personal injury and collections matters, ensuring compliance, and enhancing the efficiency of our legal operations. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar capacity.ResponsibilitiesAs a Personal Injury/Collections Paralegal, you will:1. Manage all aspects of personal injury cases from inception through resolution.2. Prepare and respond to discovery requests, including drafting affidavits, interrogatories, and requests for production.3. Track and manage all case deadlines, ensuring all legal documents are filed in a timely manner.4. Coordinate with clients, attorneys, court personnel, and other parties as needed.5. Conduct legal research and assist in preparing legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.6. Maintain a comprehensive and organized case management system.7. Oversee collections efforts, negotiate payment plans, and manage related legal proceedings.8. Assist in the preparation for trials, hearings, depositions, and client meetings.9. Stay updated with changes in laws and regulations related to personal injury and collections.10. Support the legal team with other duties as assigned.QualificationsTo be considered for this role, you should have:1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Personal Injury or Collections Paralegal.2. A Paralegal Certificate or equivalent legal qualification.3. Proven experience in tracking deadlines, preparing discovery responses, and managing collections.4. Strong knowledge of personal injury law and collections processes.5. Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.6. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.7. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and legal research platforms.8. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.9. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.10. High attention to detail and accuracy.11.
