A busy Plaintiff Personal Injury law firm is seeking an Intake Paralegal for a 3-month contract assignment. This role will support the legal team with client intake and case setup responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, client-focused, and comfortable handling high-volume communication and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.Position: Personal Injury Intake ParalegalLocation: GalleriaTemporary Contract Role: 3 Months (covering maternity leave)Location: Houston, TXSchedule: Full-Time, In-OfficeStart: ASAP!Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with new and existing clients regarding case updates and intake information
- Order and follow up on medical records and billing
- Prepare and send Letters of Representation
- Prepare and submit FOIA requests
- Maintain consistent follow-up communication with clients and providers
- Assist with opening and organizing new files and case documentation
- Answer questions and provide general support throughout the intake process
- Maintain accurate notes and documentation within the case management system
- Prior plaintiff personal injury experience preferred
- Experience ordering medical records and handling intake processes strongly preferred
- Strong communication and client service skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Comfortable handling a high volume of calls, emails, and follow-up tasks
- Ability to work independently and prioritize workload effectively
