PERSONAL INJURY PARALEGALLOCATION Dallas, TX | Uptown Area | 100% OnsiteCOMPENSATION & SCHEDULE• $80,000–$95,000 annually• Bonus opportunities• Full-time, in-office position• Some overtime may be required to meet case deadlines• Benefits may include health insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, and retirement plan options ROLE OVERVIEWA growing legal practice is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to provide high-level support across a busy personal injury caseload.This role will work closely with multiple attorneys and support cases throughout the full lifecycle, including pre-litigation, active litigation, settlement, and trial preparation. The Paralegal will be responsible for maintaining organized case files, protecting critical deadlines, preparing legal documents, coordinating with outside parties, and helping attorneys keep complex matters moving efficiently.The ideal candidate brings significant personal injury experience, can manage a demanding caseload with minimal supervision, and understands how to anticipate attorney needs while maintaining strong communication with clients and other parties involved in each case. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Provide direct paralegal support to approximately 3–4 attorneys handling personal injury matters.• Manage an active and varied caseload through pre-litigation, litigation, settlement, and trial preparation.• Conduct detailed client intake and maintain ongoing communication regarding case status, treatment progress, documentation, and upcoming deadlines.• Maintain accurate case files, calendars, task lists, litigation deadlines, discovery schedules, and court requirements.• Track statutes of limitation and other critical deadlines to ensure timely filings and responses.• Draft and prepare correspondence, pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, notices, settlement documentation, and other legal materials.• Request, organize, review, and summarize medical records, medical bills, wage-loss documentation, police reports, insurance records, and expert materials.• Prepare comprehensive settlement demand packages and supporting documentation.• Assist attorneys with settlement preparation and negotiation support.• Coordinate communication with insurance adjusters, medical providers, experts, court personnel, opposing counsel, witnesses, and other involved parties.• Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, independent medical examinations, expert meetings, and other case events.• Manage electronic court filings and ensure documents are submitted accurately and within required deadlines.• Organize discovery materials and follow up on outstanding responses, records, and documentation.• Prepare chronologies, case summaries, damage documentation, and other materials to support attorney case evaluation.• Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, witness lists, subpoenas, trial notebooks, medical records, timelines, and courtroom materials.• Coordinate trial logistics and ensure attorneys have complete, organized, and current case materials.• Proactively identify missing information, approaching deadlines, or unresolved issues and bring them to the attorney's attention.• Maintain professional and responsive communication with clients throughout the legal process. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS• 6+ years of experience as a Paralegal in personal injury law.• Demonstrated experience supporting cases through pre-litigation, litigation, settlement, and trial preparation.• Strong knowledge of personal injury case procedures and litigation timelines.• Experience preparing pleadings, discovery documents, motions, subpoenas, settlement demands, and related legal documentation.• Experience working with medical records, medical bills, wage-loss information, insurance documentation, and damages materials.• Strong knowledge of court filing procedures and deadline management.• Experience coordinating depositions, mediations, hearings, experts, and other litigation activities.• Ability to manage multiple complex case files and competing priorities with minimal supervision.• Strong written and verbal communication skills.• Excellent organization, attention to detail, follow-through, and problem-solving abilities.• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced legal environment with time-sensitive deadlines.• Proficiency with legal case management software.• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.• Experience using electronic court filing systems and electronic case management tools.• Ability to work onsite in Dallas five days per week. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE• Experience supporting multiple attorneys simultaneously.• Background handling complex or high-value personal injury matters.• Experience preparing cases for mediation, settlement conferences, and trial.• Strong trial preparation experience, including development of trial notebooks, exhibit lists, witness materials, subpoenas, and case timelines.• Experience coordinating directly with medical experts, retained experts, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel.• Strong client-service skills and the ability to communicate effectively in high-stress or sensitive situations. WHAT WILL MAKE SOMEONE SUCCESSFULThe strongest candidate will be an experienced personal injury paralegal who can take ownership of case details, anticipate upcoming needs, and keep attorneys informed without requiring constant direction.This person should be highly organized and comfortable balancing multiple cases, deadlines, client needs, and attorney priorities at the same time.Success in this role will require strong judgment, attention to detail, persistence, and the ability to recognize potential problems before they become urgent. The ideal candidate will communicate clearly, stay ahead of deadlines, and maintain accurate, organized case files from intake through resolution.Someone who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment, takes pride in producing accurate work, and enjoys being a trusted resource to attorneys and clients will be particularly successful in this position.
