Trial Paralegal Location: New York, NY Salary: $85,000 – $110,000 (based on experience) EverStaff has partnered with a prestigious, award-winning personal injury law firm located in New York, NY, seeking an experienced Trial Paralegal to join their growing litigation team. This firm is widely recognized for its community focus, client-centered advocacy, and collaborative, high-performance culture. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling a fast-paced caseload supporting attorneys throughout all phases of litigation — from client intake to trial. Key Responsibilities Client Relations: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing case updates, gathering documentation, and ensuring all questions are addressed with professionalism and empathy. Case Management: Maintain organized case files, manage medical records, court filings, discovery materials, and trial exhibits using the firm’s case management system. Calendar Oversight: Track and manage deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials to ensure all critical dates are met. Discovery Support: Draft and review pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and trial documents with high accuracy. Trial Preparation: Assist attorneys with witness coordination, subpoenas, exhibit lists, jury instructions, and preparation of trial notebooks and visual presentations. In-Trial Support: Attend trial as needed, manage exhibits, assist with note-taking, and ensure smooth coordination throughout proceedings. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably within personal injury law. Strong research, writing, and communication skills. Exceptional organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines. Professional demeanor with a client-service-oriented mindset. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
