- One-on-one personal training
- Comprehensive adaptive fitness training
- Opportunity to work with a unique and rewarding client population
- Multiple training locations throughout San Diego
- Opportunity for additional hours as your client schedule grows
- Conduct private 1:1 personal training sessions
- Lead or co-lead small group fitness sessions when applicable
- Modify exercises based on each client's abilities and goals
- Review client information and prepare individualized workouts
- Conduct fitness assessments and periodic reassessments
- Document client progress and session information
- Communicate professionally with clients, families, and the Special Strong team
- Travel to assigned training locations within your service area
- Active Personal Trainer Certification
- Active CPR/AED Certification
- Comfortable using a smartphone and basic computer applications
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to travel to assigned locations within approximately a 15-mile service area
- Dependable, patient, professional, and comfortable working independently
- Previous personal training experience
- Experience working with individuals with autism, intellectual or developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, seniors, or other adaptive populations
