Overview
Job Description
NOW HIRING | OVERLAND PARK, KS
Personal Trainer / Fitness Coach
Full-Time
We train adults 40+. Small groups and 1-on-1. Strength training, functional movement, real coaching.
We’ve been voted Best Personal Training in Johnson County three years running and have 100+ five-star reviews. That doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because our coaches actually care — and we’re looking for one more who does too.
Pay: $20–$30/hour
What You’ll Do
- Coach adults 40+ in small group and 1-on-1 sessions with consistent energy and attention to detail
- Build real relationships — know your members’ names, their goals, their history, and what motivates them
- Track progress carefully and deliver a training experience that feels personal every time
- Show up prepared, professional, and ready to give your best — regardless of how you feel that day
- Take feedback seriously and apply it — we have systems and standards, and we expect coaches to embrace both
What We Offer
- Full-time hours with a stable, structured schedule — no chaos, no last-minute changes
- No sales responsibilities — your only job is to be a great coach
- No doubles — we protect your energy so you can show up well for every session
- PTO — we invest in coaches who are in it for the long haul
- Ongoing feedback and mentorship — we’ll help you get better if you’re willing to do the work
- Clear expectations and systems so you always know where you stand
- A team culture built on accountability, humility, and genuine care for people
Who We’re Looking For
The right person for this role is someone who:
- Is certified (NASM, ACE, ISSA, or similar) and CPR/AED certified
- Puts people first — every session, every interaction, every day
- Has a detail-oriented coaching style — the small things are what make the difference
- Welcomes feedback instead of dreading it
- Wants to build something, not just fill a schedule
- Bonus: experience with adults 40+ or in group training settings
