Pharmacist

A healthcare facility in Peridot, Arizona is seeking an experienced Pharmacist for a 13-week travel assignment. The Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications, reviewing prescriptions for accuracy, monitoring drug interactions, and providing patient counseling.

Responsibilities:• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and safety• Dispense prescription medications in accordance with physician orders• Provide patient education on medication use, dosage, and potential side effects• Monitor patient medication therapies and identify possible drug interactions• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility pharmacy regulations• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care

Requirements:• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy required• Active Pharmacist license (Arizona preferred or ability to obtain)• Previous pharmacist experience preferred• Strong attention to detail and knowledge of medication safety• Excellent communication and patient counseling skills
