Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Lunch: 12:30 PM–1:30 PM

Contract Type: Contract-to-Hire

Location: On-site, Watertown, SD 57201

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist with an active South Dakota Pharmacist License to join our client’s team. This position plays a critical leadership role in daily pharmacy operations, regulatory compliance, and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Verify and check prescriptions for accuracy and safety
Ensure prescriptions are processed correctly and efficiently
Maintain and optimize daily pharmacy workflow
Fill prescriptions and oversee dispensing operations
Ensure full compliance with state, federal, and organizational regulations
Conduct monthly pharmacy audits
Administer immunizations and long‑acting injectables (LAIs)

Qualifications:

Experienced Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist In Charge
Active and unrestricted South Dakota Pharmacist License
Strong leadership and workflow management skills
Ability to oversee pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
