Job Description

Pharmacist Inpatient PharmacyJoin our dynamic healthcare team as a Pharmacist Inpatient Pharmacy and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care within a fast-paced hospital setting. This position offers an exciting opportunity for licensed pharmacists with inpatient experience to utilize their expertise, ensure medication safety, and support critical transplant patients. Minimum of 1 year of inpatient transplant experience
Proficiency with EPIC pharmacy systems
Current LA Pharmacist license in good standing at the time of application
Board Certified PharmD (Doctor of Pharmacy) qualification
Strong knowledge of inpatient hospital medication protocols and safety procedures
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have Skills:

Additional experience in transplant or specialized pharmacy units
Familiarity with hospital electronic health record (EHR) systems beyond EPIC
Prior experience working weekend shifts and rotating schedules

Preferred Education and Experience:

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution
Prior inpatient hospital pharmacy experience, particularly in transplant units
Active LA pharmacy license at the time of employment

Other Requirements:

Ability to work a 5x8-hour shift schedule (07:00 - 15:30) including weekends on rotation
Willingness to participate in weekend rotation schedule
Certifications in medication safety or specialized pharmacy practice are advantageous
Valid licensure, certification, travel, and applicable reimbursements as necessary

Compensation for this role is highly competitive, with an hourly pay rate of $73.70.
