You’ll work closely with internal teams and the organization’s pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) to research and resolve benefit-related questions, maintain system accuracy, and support day-to-day pharmacy benefit functions.What You'll Do As a Pharmacy Benefits Specialist, you will be responsible for:• Supporting pharmacy benefit administration and daily operations.• Researching and resolving pharmacy benefit-related issues.• Assisting with prior authorization processes and related requests.• Reviewing information for accuracy and maintaining system data.• Participating in system testing and troubleshooting potential issues.• Preparing and maintaining reports and documentation.• Collaborating closely with internal departments and the PBM.• Ensuring all activities adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.• Maintaining detailed and accurate records throughout all processes.What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:• Experience in pharmacy technician roles or pharmacy benefits/PBM operations.• Knowledge of prior authorizations, health insurance, or managed care.• Familiarity with pharmacy billing, Medicare Part D, or mail-order pharmacies.• Healthcare benefits administration experience.• Strong computer skills with excellent attention to detail.• Research, problem-solving, and organizational skills.• Ability to work independently while collaborating as part of a team.Why Consider This Opportunity?• Competitive pay range of $25.33–$31.29/hour.• Fully remote position offering flexibility and work-life balance.• Monday–Friday daytime schedule.• Opportunity to gain valuable experience in pharmacy benefits and healthcare operations.• High-priority opening with an ASAP start.• Chance to work in a dynamic and impactful healthcare environment.Location & Schedule This is a fully remote role working Monday–Friday from 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.
