Pharmacy Clinical Specialist – Cardiovascular ICU

Boca Raton, FL | Full-Time | Day Shift | $10,000 Sign-On Bonus

A leading healthcare organization in South Florida is seeking a Pharmacy Clinical Specialist to join its Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit team. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinical pharmacist interested in working in a growing critical care environment with new facilities and equipment.

Position Highlights

  • $10,000 sign-on bonus

  • Full-time

  • Day shift; schedule varies based on physician rounding

  • Cardiovascular ICU focus

  • Brand-new clinical building and equipment

  • Approximately 10–16 beds in the new unit

  • Critical care services expanding from approximately 400 to 467 beds

  • On-call every 4th weekend

  • Cross-functional clinical responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to cardiovascular ICU patients.

  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds.

  • Evaluate and optimize medication therapy.

  • Make evidence-based recommendations to physicians and the care team.

  • Monitor medication safety and patient outcomes.

  • Provide clinical consultation and medication education.

  • Support quality improvement initiatives.

  • Perform cross-functional pharmacy responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • PharmD or equivalent pharmacy degree.

  • Appropriate Florida pharmacist licensure.

  • Clinical pharmacy experience.

  • Cardiovascular, critical care, or ICU pharmacy experience strongly preferred.

  • Cerner experience preferred but not required.

  • Epic experience is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
