Must be currently certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board, (PTCB), and registered in good standing as a "Certified Pharmacy Technician" with the SC Board of Pharmacy. (This requires being a graduate of an approved Pharmacy Technician program and by having submitted documentation for their required number of work experience hours as a pharmacy technician or having met requirements to be grandfathered in by 2004). If not currently certified, must obtain certifications with in 6 months of hire. Must have basic typing skills and a working knowledge of computers and equipment utilized in the preparation, repackaging, dispensing and distribution of pharmaceutical products.
