This team player handles medication refill requests, handles computer entry, contacts patients about refill information and much more. If you love keeping busy, this is the job for you.
THIS IS A HYBRID POSITION. 4 DAYS ARE WORK FROM HOME. ONE DAY IS ONSITE AT FRANCISCAN EDUCATION AND SUPPORT SERVICES CENTER IN GREENWOOD, IN.

Assist in the review and management of medication refill requests and prior authorizations.
Collect pertinent patient data from the electronic medical record, as outlined by department Policies and Procedures, for the purposes of medication refill management and prior authorization completion.
Enter information into the electronic medical record as required for the management of medication refill requests and prior authorizations.
Assist in the dissemination of pertinent information to Patients, Customers, and/or Employees regarding medication refills and prior authorizations.
Assist in scheduling patient clinic visits, as appropriate, as outlined by department Policies and Procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required High School Diploma/GED
3 years Retail Pharmacy Preferred
3 years Mail Order or Specialty Pharmacy Preferred
2 years Pharmacy Benefit Company customer service representative Preferred
Pharmacy Tech, State Cert (PHT) - State Licensing Board
Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certification - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board
