Title: DSCSA Product Flow Analyst II
Pay Rate: $32.61/hr
Location: Work from Home
Schedule: Mon – Fri, 11:00AM – 8:00PM EST or 8:00AM – 5:00PM EST
Note: This is a W2 contract role; C2C & 3 rd Party Candidates will NOT be considered
The Sr. Analyst – DSCSA Product Flow will be primarily responsible for DSCSA activities requiring a high degree of internal-facing interactions, resolving DSCSA data errors and ensuring efficient product flow of prescription pharmacy products. The Sr. Analyst will have the responsibility of managing a queue and processing DSCSA-related data errors, which prevent the compliant product flow of drugs held in quarantine locations at CVS Health Distribution Centers and pharmacies. The Sr. Analyst’s activities will support 10 distinct business units across Retail, PBM, Omnicare, Minute Clinic, and Oak Street Health; the Sr. Analyst will play a key role in maintaining the formal documentation of key processes. The Sr. Analyst will join forces with field teams and leadership, vendors of prescription pharmacy products, and vendors for web-based applications with which the exceptions queue and processing activities will take place.
This role will focus on monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving serialization and traceability exceptions, managing serialization and exception handling under the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA). The financial scope of work entails:
1. Minimizing and eliminating the risk for financial penalties incurred due to DSCSA non-compliance 2. Minimizing the impact to working capital and waste caused by quarantined product, DSCSA-data errors, and internal systems errors 3. Defining the financial and operational opportunities for savings due to internal and external non-adherence to standard pharmacy warehouse receiving procedures
Position Responsibilities:
· Monitor and manage serialization exceptions using TraceLink SCWM platform, ensuring timely investigation and resolution; troubleshoot CVS Health’s traceability and verification issues, escalating to trading partners
· Support the implementation of SOPs and compliance workflows for exception handling and traceability; maintain and update knowledge management records, ensuring compliance documentation aligns with CVS Health’s policies and regulatory standards
· Act as a liaison between CVS Health’s internal teams and external trading partners (manufacturers, wholesalers), addressing quarantine inventory issues and exception resolutions
· Assist in training CVS Health teams (retail pharmacies, distribution centers, PBM Mail, PBM Specialty, etc.) on serialization compliance, exception management, and best practices
· Support the development of systems and processes needed for on-going exceptions management, including staying up to date with DSCSA compliance milestones, providing input for process improvements and regulatory updates
Position Qualifications:
· 3+ years of experience across supply chain, analytics, retail operations, or healthcare
· Familiarity with DSCSA requirements, serialization, and traceability compliance across business unit (distribution center, PBM, retail tech., etc.) settings
· Knowledge of typical pharmacy and warehouse product flows and workforce
· Hands-on experience with TraceLink or a similar DSCSA compliance platform
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
· Proven track record managing queues and driving process improvement across large organizations
· Experience with exception management, triaging workflows, and providing issue resolution within high volume, high urgency environments
· Strong verbal and written communication skill with the ability to present finding and influence key stakeholders
· Ability to influence outcomes, mediate conflicts, and guide team to resolution in high stake regulatory environment
· Demonstrated ability to manage complex project and competing priorities under tight deadlines
· Proven experience leading cross functional collaboration and building consensus across the enterprise
· Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and completeness; ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and evolving Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) regulatory requirements
· Advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to make data-driven decisions under regulatory timelines
· Broad supply chain and/or store operations experience preferred
· Strong experience with Tableau or BI tools preferred
· Prior database experience utilizing SQL preferred
· Experience in developing analytical tools, templates, financial/statistical models, and/or process flows preferred
· A minimum of an Associates’ Degree; Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or other relevant field preferred
