Job Description

Global Service Resources is looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to work in Blythe, CA!Job title: Pharmacy TechnicianLocation: Blythe, CA 92225Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Monday - Wednesday)Payrate: $21-$24/hourResponsibilities:

Receive and process prescriptions/medical orders*
Collect patient information and update profiles*
Verify prescription completeness and legality*
Enter data into patient records*
Calibrate equipment, compound, measure, and package medications*
Label, record, and prepare controlled substances*
Maintain and review inventory, check for expired drugs*
Deliver and organize medications for clinics/nursing staff*
Assist pharmacists with patient therapy issues*
Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

12 months of recent experience (within last 3 years) in a public/private institution*
Valid California Board of Pharmacy license (must be maintained)*
Proficient in English (oral, written, and comprehension)
