Pay Range: $19.00/hour –$20.14/Hour on W2 (USD) (all inclusive)Work Type: Onsite Schedule: Monday - Thursday 12: 00 PM-9: 00 PM, Friday 10: 30 AM-7: 30PM Duties:
- Selects, picks, packages and labels medications and ancillary supplies per prescription, under the direct supervision of a pharmacist in accordance with the CVS specialty guidelines and pharmacy laws.
- Accurate counting of medications utilizing a manual process as well as any automated counting devices.
- Exercise proper hands sanitization and hazardous medication handling practices.
- Performs functions &/or responsibilities of an Operations Assistant (packer-20% of the week) as needed.
- Responsible for preparing and/or restocking the filling station with medications and/or supplies as needed.
- Responsible for cleaning all pill counting devices/equipment and general working areas. Center experience;preferably in healthcare, social services, or a similar service position.
- Minimum (1) year experience required in a customer service position with high volume call center experience;preferably in healthcare, social services, or a similar service position.
- Must be able to lift 50-70 pounds. (Medications, ice box when packing) 5-10% of the workday.
- Must be able to stand, walk and lift for several hours at a time. This position could be physically demanding.
- Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
- CA active pharmacy tech license (cert is not acceptable)
