Job Description

Pharmacy Tech Inpatient PharmacyJoin our dynamic healthcare team as a Pharmacy Technician in the Inpatient Pharmacy and play a crucial role in delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care within a fast-paced hospital environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge medication systems, assist in sterile compounding, and support patient care around the clock. Proven experience with Epic and Pyxis medication management systems
Proficiency in sterile compounding techniques
Previous experience in an acute care or hospital setting
Familiarity with medication dispensing systems
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling and documentation

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience with additional pharmacy software or automation tools
Knowledge of advanced compounding procedures
Bilingual abilities in any language

Preferred Education and Experience:

Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB preferred)
State licensure as a Pharmacy Technician
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Other Requirements:

Must hold current state pharmacy technician license
Certification in BLS required
Ability to work night shifts (20:00 - 06:30, 4 days per week), with minimal weekend commitments
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Willingness to adhere to dress code in charcoal gray/pewter scrubs
Availability to work the duration of a 13-week assignment with potential for extension
Compensation of $38.14 per hour
