As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll be an essential part of supporting daily pharmacy operations and ensuring the safe and accurate preparation of medications.As a Pharmacy Technician, you will:
- Read and interpret physicians' medication orders with precision.
- Follow compound formulas accurately to create non-sterile medications in accordance with USP 800 guidelines.
- Prepare and package medications, including those requiring special handling and safety measures.
- Assist in filling, processing, and dispensing prescriptions efficiently.
- Support inventory management through diligent stock control practices.
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly and courteously answering phone inquiries and assisting customers.
- Ohio Pharmacy Technician License (Registered or Certified, required).
- 1 to 3 years of pharmacy experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and effective communication abilities.
