You'll assist pharmacists in ensuring patients receive accurate medications efficiently and safely. Your role supports daily pharmacy operations while fostering a focus on quality and safety.What You'll Do As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for: Stocking, labeling, assembling, and accurately filling medication orders. Supporting pharmacy and pharmacist services as permitted by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy. Entering new prescriptions and refilling existing orders promptly to ensure seamless service. Communicating with healthcare facilities regarding medication clarifications and logistical details. Consulting with pharmacists concerning medication orders to maintain the highest standards of safety and efficacy.What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have: Education: A high school diploma or GED preferred. Licensure: Ohio Pharmacy Technician License (Registered or Certified) is required. Personal Characteristics: Motivated, focused, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic. Certifications: National certification is a plus but not mandatory. Experience: LTC experience is preferred but entry-level candidates with a strong desire to learn are encouraged to apply. Physical Abilities: Capable of performing lifting and moving tasks related to pharmacy duties. Willingness to pass a 10-panel drug screen and background check.Why Join Us in Eastlake?
