Job Title:
Pharmacy Technician
Address:West Sacramento, CA
Job Description- Manually fill prescription vials with prescribed tablets and capsules.
- Perform basic mathematical reasoning to count or calculate the appropriate number of units needed to fill prescriptions.
- Maintain a high level of focus to avoid cross-contamination and perform quality assurance checks.
- Assist with packing and shipping of prescriptions while adhering to HIPAA laws.
- Complete weekly cycle counts and assist with research of discrepancies as needed.
- Shift details include full-time hours for the first three weeks, M-F from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, followed by a part-time schedule.
- On-site position at the specified location.
- High School Degree or equivalent experience.
- CA Pharmacy Technician license required.
- PTCB National certification preferred.
