About the RoleA-Line Staffing is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our Vineland team. This critical role involves assisting pharmacists with prescription preparation, IV compounding, and data entry for reimbursement. You will help ensure accurate medication packaging, maintain pharmacy inventory, and uphold high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Prescription Preparation:
- Fill prescriptions and prepare IV medications under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
- Data Entry:
- Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to accurately input prescription information for fulfillment and reimbursement.
- Dispensing & Packaging:
- Prepackage medications following safety standards and government regulations.
- Assist in final staging and packaging of medications for pharmacist review.
- Inventory Management:
- Receive, rotate, and track incoming medications and supplies.
- Monitor lot numbers, expiration dates, and assist with physical inventory counts.
- Safety & Maintenance:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Ensure equipment is properly calibrated and clean.
- High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Active registration with the New Jersey Board of Pharmacy
- Commitment to full attendance during the first 90 days
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow regulatory guidelines
- Proficiency in basic computer data entry
- Contract-to-Hire Opportunity: Perform well and transition to a permanent role.
