• Location: Canton Township, MI 48188 • Type: Contract with potential to convert to a permanent role • Pay: $18/hour • Schedule:
- Monday–Wednesday: 11:00 AM–8:00 PM, 1-hour lunch
- Thursday: 9:00 AM–8:00 PM, 1-hour lunch
- Friday: 8:00 AM–3:00 PM, 1-hour lunch
Job Summary: A-Line Staffing is looking for Pharmacy Technicians to support a leading specialty pharmacy by accurately preparing and distributing prescription medications. The position involves processing prescriptions through the fulfillment system, resolving exceptions, and assisting pharmacists to ensure patients receive their medications safely and on time. The technician also handles patient and provider communications, helping maintain smooth and efficient pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process prescription exceptions, including resolving claim rejections and performing member and physician outreach.
- Enter member demographics and prescription information into the pharmacy data system accurately.
- Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and escalated member concerns.
- Collaborate with pharmacists on prescription-related questions and provide direction for processing as needed.
- Assist with inbound and outbound patient or physician calls.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support pharmacy operations.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0–2+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Current state-required Pharmacy Technician License.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, providers, and team members.
