Job Description

Pharmacy Technician

Location: Twinsburg, OH Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM Pay: $21/hour

Job Summary

We are hiring a Pharmacy Technician for a full-time, on-site opportunity in Twinsburg, OH. This Pharmacy Technician role is a great fit for someone with recent retail pharmacy, long-term care pharmacy, or mail order pharmacy experience who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The Pharmacy Technician will support prescription processing, order entry, billing, inventory control, shipping, and patient communication. If you have strong pharmacy operations experience and want a stable weekday schedule, this is an excellent opportunity.

Responsibilities

Process prescription orders accurately and efficiently
Perform prescription order entry and support pharmacy workflow
Handle insurance billing and related documentation
Prepare, package, and repackage prescription medical devices
Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory
Support product fulfillment, shipping, and distribution activities
Make and receive calls with patients regarding prescription-related needs
Communicate with physicians and other healthcare contacts as needed
Follow standard operating procedures , quality guidelines, and pharmacy compliance requirements
Maintain accuracy while working in a team-driven pharmacy setting

Qualifications

Active Ohio Board of Pharmacy registration
Current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential, Ohio or National
High school diploma or GED
2+ years of recent experience in retail pharmacy, LTC pharmacy, or mail order pharmacy
Experience with prescription order entry
Experience with insurance billing or pharmacy claims processing preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize work
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work fully on-site in Twinsburg, OH
Current pharmacy technician continuing education documentation
