Job Title: Pharmacy TechnicianLocation: 140 SOUTHCENTER CT STE 600 Morrisville NC USA 27560Allmed Benefits: Vision Insurance, Dental Insurance, Health Insurance and 401(k)Pay Rate: $21/hr (Paid Weekly)Contract to Hire: 01/05/2026 to 04/04/2026Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 5:30 PM–2:30 AM (or until work is completed)
Every other weekend required (assigned a consistent weekday off)
Position Overview
The Pharmacy Technician supports long-term care (LTC) pharmacy operations by accurately preparing and completing prescription orders for LTC facilities. This role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while meeting strict accuracy and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and selecting appropriate medications from inventory
Label medication packaging, scan items, and assemble prescriptions into designated bins accurately and efficiently
Communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate medication supply to meet order demands
Assist with inventory maintenance, including removing expired or unused medications, marking opened bottles, and keeping inventory organized
Consistently meet established pharmacy accuracy and productivity benchmarks
Collaborate with supervisors and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflow
Maintain clean and orderly workstations, replenish stock supplies, and properly store medications
Comply with all local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies related to prescription medication dispensing
Perform additional essential duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Previous pharmacy experience
Active and unrestricted North Carolina Pharmacy Technician license (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team-oriented environment
Strong multitasking, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
Dress Code
Professional casual attire; scrubs permitted
