Pharmacy Technician

As a Pharmacy Technician at Arnot Health, you will play a vital role in supporting our Pharmacy Department and ensuring safe, accurate, and timely medication services for our patients. Working under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will perform a variety of technical duties that do not require the professional judgment of a pharmacist. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced healthcare environment where attention to detail and a commitment to patient care are essential. Your Schedule Full-time, hourly position Day/evening rotational shift What You'll Do In this role, you will: Accurately enter and maintain medication orders in the computer system Prepare and label medications for dispensing, including sterile IV admixtures Manage controlled substances in compliance with state and federal regulations Repackage bulk medications and maintain appropriate documentation Perform quality assurance inspections to ensure proper medication storage Restock floor stock, emergency boxes, and code carts as needed Assist with inventory management, ordering, and record-keeping Provide courteous and timely communication to patients, staff, and care teams Support training, orientation, and quality improvement initiatives within the department What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred 1-3 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting strongly preferred Knowledge of medical terminology and computer systems helpful Strong organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy Ability to stand for long periods, lift objects, and perform physical tasks as needed Commitment to providing compassionate, customer-focused service Job Posted by ApplicantPro
