Job Description
Position Summary:
The Pharmacy Technician assists in the clerical, stockroom, and transportation functions necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of the Pharmacy. This role supports pharmacists and contributes to safe, timely medication distribution throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform clerical duties including data entry, filing, and record maintenance
- Assist with inventory management, stocking, and organization of pharmacy supplies
- Transport medications and related materials within the facility as needed
- Support daily pharmacy operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a Pharmacy Technician training course required
Experience:
- Previous pharmacy experience preferred
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
