Job description
- Accurately enter prescription orders into the pharmacy processing system while interpreting prescription information in accordance with established procedures, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Verify patient identity, update patient profiles, and ensure all prescription information is complete and accurate prior to processing while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance.
- Perform quality assurance checks, including PD3Q verification, to ensure prescription accuracy before submitting orders for fulfillment.
- Support daily pharmacy operations by following company policies, standard operating procedures, and quality standards in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain efficient workflow, resolve processing issues, and complete additional operational duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Employer will perform testing
- Must be FL Registered Pharm Technician (Active)
- Must have (1)+ years of pharmacy experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Background check required
- Education verification required
- Employment verification required
- Drug screening required
