Job Description
Job Title: Pharmacy TechnicianLocation: Indianapolis, INHours: Mon- Fri 8am- 5pmMax Pay Rate: $25.00/hr Type: Contract, Potential for extension or conversion to permanent Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in processing and verifying prescription orders in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Support daily pharmacy operations including order entry.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory and licensing requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams (customer support, IT) to resolve operational issues and improve service delivery.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and help identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and data security in all pharmacy-related activities.
- Stay informed on best practices and technologies in pharmacy operations to support continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Experience in pharmacy workflows and operations.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in pharmacy services.
- Excellent attention to detail and dependability.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of patient confidentiality and data security standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent; pharmacy technician certification preferred.
