Infusion Pharmacy Technician – Jacksonville, FL

Work Location: Jacksonville, FL

Work Hours: Rotating Shifts

Job Type: Contract to Hire

Position Overview

We are seeking an Infusion Pharmacy Technician to support our sterile compounding production environment. While sterile compounding experience is preferred, it is not required. The ideal candidate will have at least 1+ year of experience as a licensed Florida Pharmacy Technician and a strong attention to detail.

Team Structure

You will be joining a collaborative, production‑focused pharmacy team that includes:

8 Registered Pharmacy Technicians (RPhT)

2 Production Pharmacists

Key Responsibilities

Accurately label sterile compounded medications in accordance with regulatory and internal standards

Prepare and package non‑compounded medication orders for shipping

Follow strict safety, quality, and sterile handling guidelines

Maintain organization and workflow efficiency within the production area

Assist pharmacists and senior technicians as needed to support daily operations

Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in real time

Adhere to USP standards and internal compliance requirements

Support inventory management and routine equipment cleaning when required

Ideal Candidate Profile

1+ year of pharmacy technician experience (retail, hospital, or infusion)

Florida Pharmacy Technician license in good standing

Experience in sterile compounding is a plus, but not required
