Job Description

The Pharmacy Technician assists the Pharmacist with nonprofessional pharmacy activities. This position reports to the Pharmacy Supervisor. The Pharmacy Technician interacts with hospital employees, volunteers, students, clinic personnel and physicians. The ability to communicate with pharmacy and non-pharmacy coworkers is essential. This position prepares, labels and delivers medications, manages drug inventory, adjusts medication charges and performs additional tasks as assigned under the direct supervision of a registered Pharmacist. The Pharmacy Technician must be able to perform routine tasks on own initiative and recognize additional needs as they arise.

Hours/Shifts

64 hours bi-weekly, with opportunity to flex up to 80 hours bi-weekly.

Compensation

Wage Range: $20.94- $28.86/Hourly Please note that final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.
