Key Responsibilities:
1. Prescription Processing: Assisting in receiving and processing prescription orders from customers or healthcare providers, including verifying patient information and prescription details.
2. Medication Preparation: Measuring, counting, and packaging medications under the supervision of a pharmacist. This includes preparing medications for dispensing and ensuring proper labeling.
3. Customer Service: Interacting with customers to provide excellent service, answering questions about medications, processing payments, and managing prescription pick-ups or deliveries.
4. Inventory Management: Maintaining inventory levels by stocking shelves, checking for expired medications, and placing orders for new supplies.
5. Insurance and Billing: Assisting with insurance claims by verifying coverage, processing payments, and helping customers understand their benefits or co-pays.
6. Record Keeping: Ensuring accurate documentation of prescriptions, maintaining patient records, and adhering to legal and regulatory requirements.
7. Communication with Healthcare Providers: Contacting doctors or other healthcare professionals for clarification on prescriptions, dosage adjustments, or patient queries.
8. Compliance with Safety and Regulatory Standards:
