Job Description

NuCara Pharmacy is a dynamic community pharmacy serving patients in Iowa, Texas, Illinois, North Dakota and Minnesota. At NuCara, we prioritize one-on-one patient counseling and medication management with the goal of delivering the best pharmacy value without sacrificing the quality of care prized by our patients.

We are looking for a full-time, highly motivated pharmacy technician to join our team in Marshalltown, IA. In this position you would provide prompt, high quality care to our patients and assist the pharmacist in the preparation and distribution of prescription medications. Applicants should have strong communication and organizational skills. National Pharmacy Technician certification is preferred, not required.

Responsibilities for this position include:

Data entry
Customer interaction
Inventory management
Assist in directing daily workflow
Resolving rejected insurance claims

NuCara offers competitive wages and a benefits package including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, and PTO. The pharmacy is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and all major holidays. Work schedule is 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday - Friday.
