Job Description
About the Job:
Monday through Friday 12:30 pm-9 pm. Under general supervision, assist the pharmacist in filling physician's orders, and selecting and packaging medications for delivery to our nursing homes.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately select and fill medications according to physician orders.
- Prepare and maintain emergency medication kits for use in our nursing facilities.
- Maintain pharmacy records.
- Assist with stocking and maintenance of automated dispensing equipment.
Qualifications:
- One year of pharmacy experience is preferred.
- Experience in aseptic technique preferred.
- Ability to work independently.
- Exemplary verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Current pharmacy technician license in good standing with the State of Arkansas.
