Pharmacy Technician II Upland, CA 3+ Months with a high possibility of extension M-F 8am-4:30pm Position Overview/Project Details: This position requires a California-licensed Pharmacy Technician working under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. The technician will be responsible for the packaging, preparation, and sterile compounding of intravenous medications as well as injectable medications, including chemotherapy and other biohazardous drugs. All duties must be performed in accordance with USP <797> and <800> standards, institutional protocols, and safety guidelines. Minimum Qualifications & Experience: At least 1 year of performing related duties as a pharmacy technician. Need candidates with hospital experience, not retail experience. Licensed pharmacy technician license in good standing with California Board of Pharmacy Experience with sterile compounding Minimum Education: High School or equivalent or Post High School vocational/specialized training or Graduation from a foreign school of Pharmacy Special Qualifications/Certifications Required: N/A Location (If remote, list as so): City of Hope Upland: 1100 San Bernardino Rd, Upland, CA 91786 DURATION: 3 Months Schedule: M-F 8am-4:30pm FTE Conversion/Extension possibility? Possible, depending on performance and timeline.
