Licensure Requirement:
Board of Pharmacy Technician License (Registered or Certified) Technician Trainee accepted with expectation of incumbent to become registered or certified within 90 days of hire.
Certifications:
Certification as a pharmacy technician or documented passing score on certification exam prior to start date (CPhT, ExCPT), required.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Variable hours between 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- 4 hours every 4th Sunday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (Work from home)
- No holidays

- Maintains pharmacy inventory levels by monitoring stock levels and ordering necessary supplies.
- Ensures proper storage and handling of medication by following established procedures and guidelines.
- Conducts regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
- Collaborates with pharmacy staff to optimize inventory management processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintains accurate records of inventory transactions and communicates any issues to management.
- Resolves drug shortages promptly by prioritizing workload which supports quality patient care.
High school diploma or equivalent, required.

Skills:- Computer competency with Excel, Word, and Windows minimally.
- Ability to lift and shelve containers up to 40 pounds.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently under general supervision.
Three years’ experience as a technician in a hospital setting, required.
