Job Description

PhD Nutritionist – Beef Sales Consultant

Are you a cattle nutritionist who wants your science to drive real results in the field? A respected feed manufacturer is looking for a PhD Nutritionist to consult with and sell to feedlots across the Midwest, working from a home office.

About the Role

Build and manage relationships with feedlot customers across a home-based Midwest territory
Design and sell feed and nutrition programs that improve cattle performance and profitability
Act as a trusted technical advisor on rations, health, and feed efficiency
Grow the territory through new business and expanded existing accounts
Travel regularly to customer sites within the territory

Qualifications

PhD in Ruminant or Animal Nutrition
Industry, consulting, or feedlot experience is a plus, and early-career candidates will also be considered
Background in beef cattle or feedlot nutrition preferred
Strong communication skills and a consultative approach to sales
Willing to travel and hold a valid driver's license
