Job Description

Job Title: Phlebotomist Length of Assignment: Initially 3+ months with possible extension / FTE Work Location : Colorado Springs, CO 80923 with floating to Colorado Springs, CO 80903

Shift: Monday – Friday, 7am- 4pm or 8am- 5pm (Must be available for both)

Payrate: $22/h - $24.66/h on W2

Job Overview: This role is primarily focused on performing blood draws in a clinical setting. You will work directly with patients and support general Medical Assistant duties as needed.

Requirements:

Minimum of 6 months of hands-on venipuncture experience (school or externship experience is not considered)
Must be comfortable performing blood draws independently

Education / Certification:

Candidates must meet at least one of the following:
Graduate of a Medical Assistant program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES
Completion of a Medical Assistant training program through the military
Medical Assistant certification from an organization accredited by NCCA or ANSI

Accepted Certifications (active or previously active):

AMCA, AMT, AAMA, NHA, NCCT

Additional Information:

Candidates with a national phlebotomy certification will also be considered
