Title: Phlebotomist II Location: Butte, MT Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday Duration: 4 months (Temp to Hire) Job Summary: The Phlebotomist I serves as the primary point of contact for patients, performing blood collection and specimen preparation for lab testing. This role requires accuracy, professionalism, and strong patient interaction skills to ensure a safe and comfortable experience. Key Responsibilities: Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection (including pediatric and geriatric patients) Accurately label, process, and prepare specimens for testing Verify patient information and ensure proper documentation Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards Provide excellent customer service and build patient trust Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (required) 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience (required) Experience with pediatric and geriatric draws Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic computer/data entry skills Reliable transportation and flexibility for coverage if needed Preferred: Phlebotomy certification Medical assistant or paramedic training 2+ years in a patient service center or similar setting Customer service experience
